I have a Class A Motor Home. I am considering towing a 2017 Ford F150, XLT, 4-wheel drive. Not sure where to begin as for as what equipment I need.

Hello Paul; I would be happy to help you find the equipment you need. Flat towing your 2017 F-150 will require a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring, and a supplemental braking system. I recommend the following:

-Roadmaster 64" Single Hook, Straight Safety Cables # RM-645
-Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-152-1676-7
-Curt RVi Series Shadow 2 Flat Tow Brake System # RVI94FR
-Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400
More than likely you will also need a high-low adapter like # e52ZV to keep you level. I have attached an article below which explains how to measure and choose the correct adapter for your setup. It also includes a link to all of our available adapters for your reference.

Hey Paul, how did your flat tow setup for the F-150 come together with the Roadmaster base plate and Falcon 3HD tow bar? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up a similar motor home and truck combo.
