Can Malone Anti-Rattle Device part # MPG908 be Used with Class IV 2 inch Hitch
Updated 09/30/2024 | Published 09/27/2024 >
Question:
Will this work on a class 4, 2” hitch receiver? I see it is listed as working on a class 2. I will be pulling an RV with a WDH and need to take the slop out of the hitch receiver. I bought a Reese 8000/800 WDH from you, and it seems quite loose in my hitch receiver.

Hey Keith, yes the Malone anti rattle device part # MPG908 does work on a Class 4 2 inch hitch like what you have. The reason it is listed as Class II 1-1/4 inch hitch is because only the Class II hitches have the lip around the end of the hitch opening needed for it to work.
