Question:
I want a connector that brackets to my vehicle, that has 4 wire flat and 7 wire blade connections, and I want to be able to use both at same time. I see some choices, but I do not see any wire pigtails that can be wired to my vehicle wires. When i put in my vehicle, your website wrongly assumes I have a factory tow package, and website also told the previous web help person that my van has factory tow package.

Hi Maurice; since you don't have the factory tow package or any trailer wiring you need to start by adding the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # 31345. Normally I would recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # 55540 but it doesn't have a powered converter. Since you plan to use the 4-way and 7-way simultaneously you want the converter to help reduce strain on the vehicle wiring.
You will also need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This comes with everything you need to upgrade the 4-way to a 7-way. The adapter maintains the 4-way connection so you will be able to use both at the same time. However, you still need to be careful to not overload the circuit.
I attached some installation videos below for your reference.

Hey Maurice, how did things go with the Hopkins wiring harness and the ETBC7 kit for your van? Were you able to get both the 4-way and 7-way connectors working together? Your update could make it easier for others setting up the same combo.
