Today we're going to review Part Number C57300. This is the Curt Dodge OEM harness adapter. This is a custom fit part number. It is designed to fit the 1995 to 2010 Dodge Dakotas, the 1995 to 2008 Dodge Ram 1500, and the '95 to 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 vehicles. Basically what this adapter would do is on these early Dodge vehicles they use a rectangular OEM wiring harness connector at the rear of the vehicle and if you need to put a seven-way vehicle socket on your vehicle this adapter needs to be used because it will connect the rectangular connector that's on the vehicle to the seven-way vehicle socket. I do have an example of a . This is what the seven-way vehicle socket would look like. Basically this end is made to where it would just snap right into place and then the rectangular end would connect to that rectangular OEM connector that's on your vehicle.
There is no cutting or splicing of wires. It's just a simple plug in connection. That should do it for the review on Part Number C57300, the Curt Dodge OEM harness adapter. .

great upgrade for older dodges
Saved me a lot of time.
I bought this over other products because it seemed rugged and well built.
Although I used this in a non standard way, I found it very useful.
Purchased a used slide-in truck camper that had an oddball connector on it. I cut one end off of this and kept the end that plugged into the trailer outlet on the truck. Wired it into the camper wiring, added some additional tail lights and turn signals on the camper and it all goes through this plug.
When taking the camper off have just one plug to deal with. Just like a trailer.
Maybe not for everyone although I am very happy with the result.
BTW, I had sense enough to know this would void the warranty.
I highly reccommend, even if you choose to use it as intended.
good upgrade
Great product ... well made. I own a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 (Gen 3) ... which has been updated/ modified with a newer Gen 4 rear bumper. The Gen 3 bumpers are equipped with the square male/ female wiring harness receptacles ... while the Gen 4 bumpers are standard equipped with circular receptacles. The Curt Dodge OEM wiring harness adapter is the 'plug-n-play' remedy to the incompatibility of the Gen 3 and Gen 4 bumper wiring harnesses.
I was grateful to see that this plugged right up to my truck on both ends. Solid connections, and perfect fit. Saved me time and money as I avoided wiring by hand.
