Question:
Thanks my max fan run well but every once in a while, the rain sensor starts flashing on the main fan and flashes on and off on and off on and off on and off the only way to stop. It is to cut the power to the fan completely. Sometimes it comes back. Sensor is perfectly dry and then it works again. Could you tell me is this rain sensor my problem, and can I buy a replacement ring or do I just cut it out of the circuit?

Hi Gary,
The MaxxFan Deluxe # MA00-07500K that it seems you're referencing doesn't actually have a rain sensor. The MaxxFan that does is the MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent # MA00-04500K. It does sound like the rain sensor is the issue so I recommend replacing it with the Replacement Rain Sensor for MaxxAir RV or Trailer Roof Vent Fans # MA34FR.

Hey Gary, did replacing the rain sensor on your MaxxFan take care of the flashing issue? Knowing how it turned out could really help others who run into the same problem.
