This product solved a chronic error message displayed on my 2017 Chevy Tahoe when connected with other brand trailer connectors. Positive fit and well made product.
The quality is good with and I am happy with that. Just do not follow the wiring labels on it. Half the listed colors are incorrect. I made the mistake and had to rewire after going to etrailer website instructions and getting the correct wire locations. Works good now though. Other than that very happy with it.

The colors on this plug are for RV Industry Standard wiring. Traditional Wiring colors are different. That said, the individual terminals are in the same order as far as which terminal goes to tail lights, which terminal goes to right turn signal, etc., regardless of which wiring colors are on your existing harness. Now if only the person who converted the wiring on my sisters horse trailer to 6 blade 7 terminal had followed the color codes of either..... That however, will be corrected this Friday!!!!

I had an non-standard use for this connector. I neds a quick disconnect for 6 LED lights on the roof of my truck. This did the trick wonderfully but it is probably way overkill for that purpose.

Your wasting your time looking for a better company to do biz with, etrailer has it all under one roof, quality merchandise, bend over backward staff going the extra mile, bodacious customer service and Im sure I left something out here, trust me, try etrailer youll be blown away. They are setting the example in the industry.
The item ordered was exactly what what advertised and the shipping was very rapid I'm very happy with everything.
Product so far has worked great for a pinched/cut OEM 7pin cord. It isnt weatherproof like an OEM connector to the cord-as well as the female end of the connector but then its just the connector so totally sealed is not the design for this. It works fine & currently has saved me from having to purchase a connector & wire cord as 1 piece & some shennagins with installing that set up.

Product is working fine after a year of use of several connectsdisconnects every month. Connections are solid. No failures to pass powersignals. Very satisfied!
Easy install, water tight connection to trailer cable.
Product works as it should. However, etrailer shipping method is very poor using USPS ADVANTAGE SHIPPING. Part ordered in Wentzville Mo., and I live in Salem Mo. Using the cheapest shipping method, they can get. It traveled to Philadelphia, Pa. then started it route back to Missouri. Should possible use a better quality shipping service since customer pays for shipping.
Connector was exactly as advertised, arrived promptly, and worked perfectly.
Came quickly
Used to make a test lead when trouble shooting new GM trailer brake controller and kept as spare.

I got exactly what I was looking for and there were no deficiencies in the product quality. The following comment does not apply to eTrailer; it's just something I want to say. I purchased the connector because I was chasing an intermittent problem associated with the Chev braking software and the Hydrastar braking unit in my Montana 5th wheel. After several attempted fixes, I finally solved the problem by purchasing a diode from Hydrastar.
I searched for this part and level of quality all over the internet. When I found this at etrailer, I had to double check the price as it was about half the price of others that I had found!
It served its purpose to convert 4 connection to 7 connection to make it compatible with Toyota 7 connection set up diagram which is different than many American or other 7 point connection. Thank you E-Trailer . 5 stars and it's working just fine 1 year out from installing.
Installed easily and working okay.
Sooo, bought another one to match my truck side connection as GM uses Pollak, which are known to not play well with other brands. The design is just a wire clamp to wire it, which I did with the first one, but trying to get it secured I stripped out the screw. There are no torque specs provided. I’ll move to crimped ring terminals on this one and dial back the torque a bit.

Still working just fine, solved the issue of brand consistency with GM truck, and still recommend using ring terminals should have noted you will need two sizes and angles
Using this product to replace inputs from a straight-4 hookup plus add'l wires from a supplemental light system for my truck. Works exactly as advertised; saves me a lot of hassle. Installer must have some rudimentary electrical-connection knowledge.
You must also know which of the seven contacts does what for your vehicle to install this correctly; should be in your car/truck's manual.
Four instead of 5 stars just because the entrance/exit hole for wires needs supplementation to make it water-tight.
Product is easily worth the money and functions exactly as one would expect.
I have this same plug (PK 12706) on the Boat Trailer and it works perfect, and never disconnects or shorts. Now I'm putting this same plug on the Snowmobile Trailer. I'll let you know if I have any problems. Anything to do with trailer issues I always contact eTrailer Company first.

I'd did get here , but it was sent in my wife's name that is why I didn't get it from the mail on 3/9/26 but I remembered an email I received with my order but in my wife's name, I really don't understand why my wife's name was on anything, she didn't order it
