Will Installing A Trailer Hitch On A 2024 Toyota RAV4 Void Any Warranties

Is there any warranty issues/concerns when installing this hitch on my Rav4? I dont want to void any warranties.

Hey Darren,

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects the consumer from voiding the warranty by installing a trailer hitch or other aftermarket part. The only way it would void the warranty would be if it were improperly installed and/or if you weren't following the capacity restrictions/not following any other listed towing instructions from Toyota. For example, if you tow with a vehicle that states it can only haul hitch mounted accessories (bike racks, cargo carriers, etc.) then you would still be voiding the warranty. As long as you follow and the rules from Toyota and stay under the capacity of the hitch # e23ZR and your RAV4 you shouldn't have any issues.
