Which TorkLift Tie-Downs For 2015 Toyota Tundra Double Cab 6-1/2' Bed

Updated 07/28/2024 | Published 07/25/2024

Question:

Hello. I did use your little cheat guide to find the tie down for my camper with my truck. I just found there are other options I seen on videos that people install that are different ones from torklift website compare to from your website recommend for my truck or seen on youtube installing. I have 2015 toyota tundra double cab 6.5 bed with factory hitch 4x4 diesel with cab length and my camper have external anchor point. For rear side: T3306 torklift OR TLT3306 etrailer For front side: T2309 torklift OR TLT2309 etrailer May I ask your opinion on which I should get and why? Or how your works? I do have picture underneath my truck to look at. Trying to find the right one since this is my first time and planning on traveling around USA. Thank you. Katarina

Hey Katarina,

Definitely smart to check, and I can tell you that you do have the correct parts for the TorkLift tie-downs on your 2015 Toyota Tundra Double Cab with a 6-1/2' bed, factory hitch, and boards that do not go under your truck bed. As for the part numbers you mentioned, they are actually exactly the same part, it's just that we have the "TL" in front of the part number to signify they are TorkLift.

So the T3306 are the Rear TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLT3306 and the T2309 are the Front TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLT2309. You can get these individually if you like, but they do come as a kit with both parts; for that you'd need the Custom Fit Tie Down Kit With TLT2309 | TLT3306 # TL79FV.

I 100% recommend going with TorkLift over any other tie-down kit because they are frame-mounted, which means they distribute the weight of your camper across your Tundra's entire base instead of just its bed, which provides the best stability for the camper - and thus your truck.

I also wanted to mention that along with the tie-downs, the only other thing you will need are turnbuckles, and for that the best option by far are the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles. These turnbuckles are the easiest to use due to their lever-action handles, and are also locking to help protect your investment. They come in a quantity of four and you can choose from different colors:

- Polished Stainless Steel: TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles # TLS9526-2-LK
- Black: TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles # TLS9529-2-LK
- Gray: TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles # TLS9522-2-LK

Hopefully this was helpful so you could make the best decision to safely travel around the U.S., but if you have any other questions or something you need clarified, feel free to let me know.

For rear side: T3306 torklift OR TLT3306 etrailer I get it now that they’re same but how come the pictures of it look different? I made little mistakes on this one. For front side: T2309 OR TLT2307 (etrailer) What the difference between these 2?

@KatarinaG For front tie-downs it's what they fit; the # TLT2307 is only for 5-1/2 foot beds, while the # TLT2309 is for 6-1/2 foot beds. As for the photos I'm not sure; I can tell you ours are photos of the actual product.
