Question:
I have a Lippert axels on my trailer LC135-DTB-76.25-OD-ZERO-LPOB-L-545 Serial 045-004311085 Variant V00173243 3500lb I want to upgrade them to 6000 or 7000lb. Can you match up using this info?

Hi Chris; we do not have any 6,000 or 7,000 lb axles that match that length for replacement. The only thing I can offer is the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - 7,000 lbs # TASR7KS01. The Timbren fits any frame width so matching up the length isn't an issue. This system replaces your axle along with your suspension, upgrading it to an independent suspension system.
7,000 lbs is an awfully big jump with nothing to really gain so if you're set on increasing axle capacity I recommend going no higher than a 5,200 lb axle. We still wouldn't have a standard axle that matches but you could use the # ASR5200S01 which has a 5,200 lb capacity instead.
Keep in mind, increasing the axle capacity won't increase the capacity of your trailer. You will still be limited by the other components, including the frame.

I could do the 5200lb. My issue isn’t weight. I’ve replaced The Lippert drop Axels twice now. When I absolutely have to back the trailer into a tuff area to unload band equipment and the trailer has to be jackknifed, 2 the wheels slide causing the drop Axel to bend the camber and it doesn’t return back. Then I have a permanent camber that wears tires out too quickly. I need a stronger set up.
