Hello Michael, thanks for reaching out. The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank # FA92-02-4315 has a maximum of 9-3/4" drop when used with a round bar system and 8" of drop when used with a trunnion bar system. I am not sure where the 6.5" dimension you mentioned came from, but I have included detailed dimensions of the shank below for your reference.

Hey Michael, did the detailed dimensions clear up the confusion about the drop on your Fastway e2 shank? Knowing what matched your setup could help others comparing manufacturer specs too.

Hey Jesse, I just installed the e2 92-00-0800 trunnion hitch on a 2026 Yukon 4x4. The travel trailer I'm towing is 19.5" to the coupler, the top of the hitch on the yukon is 21.75" Equal-i-zer is suggesting the 90-02-4300, but the only close fastway model is this one, the 92-02-4315. Will this one be too much drop? Woudl you suggest thr equal-i-zer model even though it isn't labeled for the e2 hitch? Thanks dude.

@BrandonM Hey Brandon. Yes I agree the Fastway # FA92-02-4315 is too much drop. The Equalizer # EQ90-02-4300 is much closer to what you need so that's what I recommend. It is totally fine to use an Equalizer brand shank with your Fastway e2 hitch. The shanks use the same channel size and hole spacing so that will be totally fine.
