Thank you for the prompt delivery of my hitch. It arrived just a few hours ago. With the tracking available for the delivery, I had a good idea of when to expect it and happened to be outside to meet the driver, and had the hitch installed before he pulled away! Thank you! 746246

I could not find the product I needed at the online site so I called. Your customer service person Susan answered and found the part I needed. She provided excellent service. What can I say about a shank, works as designed. I have a Nash 25C trailer which sits pretty high when connecting to my stock Tundra. This shank coupled with the Fastway e2 weight distribution hitch worked like a champ and now my trailer is level with no sway. 605488

Just what I needed to get my weight distribution hitch back down on my new Ram 2500 four wheel drive. Needed about 5 more inches of drop, this is perfect! Cost was less than half what the big box Camping store wanted for about the same size . Ordered on Saturday and it was on my porch by Tuesday !!! Expect this to have great match to my E2 hitch , no picture right now , camper is put away for season. Thanks again , great to deal with your company 585650

A Fastway weight distribution shank like the part # FA92-02-4315 you mentioned is compatible with a Draw Tite weight distribution system as they are all made to be interchangeable with each other. Based on the dimensions you mentioned this should work well for you. The max drop this can do is 7 inches and had incremental adjustments that can be made at 1-1/4 inches.

  • Drop Shank Recommendation for a Lifted Truck and an E2 Weight Distribution System
The max drop the # FA92-02-4315 that you referenced can do is 6-1/2 inches. Since you need right at 6 inches of drop to tow your trailer level this shank would work well for you. I attached a help article link on selecting the correct rise/drop ball mount for you to check out as well.

  • Rise Shank Recommendation for Use with Husky Centerline Weight Distribution
Yes, you can use a weight distribution shank with more rise than you currently have to allow you to be able to tow your trailer level. • What is Maximum Drop Possible with Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank FA92-02-4315
My contact at Fastway confirmed that on their Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank # FA92-02-4315 the maximum possible drop is indeed 6-1/2-inches. The 8-inch dimension you noted in one photo (good eyes you have there!) refers to the length of the mount from the hitch pin hole to the holes in the vertical portion of the shank where the weight distribution head unit mounts. Overall length is 13-inches. Note this shank can be used only in the drop position.

The shank included with all of the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Systems offers up to 2-1/4" drop with round spring bars and a 2" drop with trunnion spring bars. If you need an additional 3-1/2" of drop for a total of 5-3/4" with round spring bars and a total of 5-1/2" with trunnion spring bars then you would need to use part # FA92-02-4315 which offers a total drop up to 8-1/2" with round spring bars and 7" with trunnion spring bars. Since you need about 6-1/2 inches of drop you could get the Reese Weight Distribution Shank # RP3215 if you have a round bar setup. • Will a Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System Work with a Lifted 2004 GMC Sierra 1500
The Fastway e2 weight distribution system # FA94-00-1033 is rated for a maximum of 1,000 pounds tongue weight. To choose a weight distribution system you will need to go by the total tongue weight of the set up. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. So if your total tongue weight is under 1,000 pounds then the system will work for you. For a compatible...

  • Weight Distribution Shank with Less Drop than Fastway Shank # FA92-02-4315
Sounds like you have the FastWay E2 shank part # FA92-02-4315 which is a 12 inch long shank that can do 12 inches of rise and 8-1/2 inches of drop The part # FA92-02-4214 is a similar shank that would give you a few more inches of ground clearance and would not hang below the head of the system like your current one is doing.

Since most weight distribution (WD) systems use the same style of shank with the same adjustment hole locations and sizes you should be able to just use the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank # FA92-02-4315 which gives a trunnion system a max drop of 6-1/2" and is closer to what you are looking for. This has the adjustment holes set at 1-1/4" apart on center which you can compare with what you have to ensure it is compatible with your current system. I have attached a link to our selection...

  • Will I Need a Longer Weight Distribution Shank if I Switch to a Lifted Truck?
If you only have the shank that came with your Blue Ox SwayPro system, then you will almost definitely need a longer shank to tow with a lifted F-350. The good news is the brand isn't all that important because most shanks are interchangeable between brands and we can help you figure out what size shank you will actually need. The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System part # EQ37061ET along with the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank part # FA92-02-4315 is what I recommend using with a lifted 2016 Ford F-150. This system in particular is largely considered to be the best system on the market so it will work great to help reduce sag/squat while towing or hauling. Furthermore, the system has integrated sway control as well. The shank will then allow for a level connection as it offers a drop up to 7".

For example we have the Fastway e2 shank part # FA92-02-4315 which can provide a drop of up to 7 inches. This also can be used with the Steadi Flex system you listed. This head is the exact same as the ones that come in the full kits. You would have to use a Fastway head in order to use the Fastway spring bars. Another brand head will not work. The center of the brackets can be 24 to 27 inches back from the center of the coupler ball cavity so check in that general area on the frame.
