Bearing Kit that Fits Dexter 4,400 lb Trailer Axles

Question:

Im looking for bearings, seals and braces for 4400 lbs dexter axles/hubs. At dexter the hub group is D44 655. The following Dexter parts apply: - 010-019-00: Grease Seal for E-Z Lube. - 031-033-02: L68149 Inner Bearing Cone - 031-033-01: L68111 Inner Bearing Cup - 031-032-01: LM67010 Outer Bearing cup - 031-032-02: LM67048 Outer Bearing Cone

Hey Douglas, thanks for getting me all of the component part numbers for what you need as sometimes the 4,400 lb axles use odd parts. Based on what you mentioned the bearings you need are # L68149 and # LM67048 and the grease seal you need is the part # 10-19.

Sorry, I know for a fact that is not correct. Dexter themselves provided the very same kit to me and the outer Cup and Cone are too small. The ones I identified in my original question are the correct ones for 4400lbs axles. I have both correct and incorrect items in my possession and can confirm. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, Dexter does not provide a kit for the 4400 lbs axles and the necessary items have to be cobbled together individually. Thank you.

@DL You are right. I misread the bearing numbers you needed and gave you the wrong kit info. The 4,400 lb axles uses the same grease seal and one of the same bearings as a 3,500 lb axle but one of the bearings is different with the # LM67048 which I updated your initial answer to.
