Recommended Trailer Hitch for a 2017 Lance 1475 Travel Trailer

Question:
I have recently discovered a “bolt-to-frame hitch receiver”. Can you recommend one to install on the underside rear frame of my Lance? Is it a DIY project? I want to have a lightweight cargo basket to carry and have easy access to my aluminum bicycle, beach chairs, etc.....entire weight of cargo would be less than 100 lbs.

Yes, the most accommodating trailer hitch receiver we offer is the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13703 so this is what I recommend for your 2017 Lance 1475 Travel Trailer. This trailer hitch as you mentioned is a bolt-on option once you drill the holes but you can use the frame brackets as a template so this is absolutely a DIY type of job. The only things you will need are a power drill, drill bit set, and socket set. I have attached a photo of the instructions for you to look over as well as a sample install video.
Please note that if you will be attaching a bike rack to this trailer hitch or any trailer hitch for that matter on the back of a trailer, you will need to use a carrier that is rated for this. For this, I recommend the Swagman E-Spec Bike Platform Rack part # S94FR.
