I have a question about item C36RV- I see the item description for installation says, “Underbody trimming required not fascia.” Could you describe what this entails - I’ve never installed a hitch before. I’ve read elsewhere that some EV9 owners who have dealership install a hitch require a replacement bumper shaped to accommodate the hitch. Would this hitch require installation of a different bumper? Thanks so much! I own a 2024 EV9 Light Long Range

I have included an image below which shows the portion of the underbody panel which needs to be trimmed out for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C36RV to fit your 2024 Kia EV9 Light Long Range. This is found in the installation instructions linked near the bottom of the page so you can see all the steps required for installation if it is something you want to tackle yourself.

I have also linked the instructions for the Curt 4-Way # C66QV below if you should ever plan on pulling a trailer or adding Auxiliary Lights # C53201 to a hitch mounted accessory.
