Here is the issue Dave. The 8-14.5 was primarily used as a mobile home tire. These became a popular option people picked up cheep as they were basically thrown away so often. The trouble is finding a 8 lug wheel with a 14.5" diameter which was common on older pickups but can be very difficult to find today. I would recommend stepping up to a wheel and tire like the Provider ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire # TA53MR. This tire is going to be a bit taller at 30.79" versus 27.7" of your current tire. It is also slightly wider at 9.25" versus around 8" on your current tire. So you would need to ensure you have the clearance necessary for the larger tires.

Having these more commonly found size wheels and tires helps prevent you from being stranded on the side of the road and dealing with wheels and tires which were not designed for the rigors trailers have over a vehicle wheel and tire.
