Roof Rack Recommendation For A 2009 Toyota Matrix

Hi, I just got a a 2009 Toyota Matrix and would like to attach my Thule WingBar Evo Load Bars. Could you help me determine what fit kit I should buy? It seems like Thule doesnt have an official recommendation, but Im wondering if there is something close enough. Thank you!

Hello Ellery. We do have one roof rack option for the 2009 Toyota Matrix. Unfortunately, Thule has discontinued their fit kit for the 2009 Matrix, so there is no way to attach Thule towers to your roof. It used to be the Rapid Traverse Towers # TH480R and the Fit Kit # THKIT1512, but the fit kit was discontinued back in 2021 so I would have to recommend that you go with something different.
What I recommend for the 2009 Toyota matrix is the Inno Roof Rack # IN93UR. This will come complete with a custom fit kit, towers and 42" aero crossbars. Inno is currently the only brand that still makes a fit kit for the 2009 Matrix.
