You're ready to flat tow, but the hitch on your RV doesn't line up with your towed vehicle. That's where this adapter comes in. Flip it for a 4" rise or drop, slide it into place, and everything is where it needs to be.
Many tow systems need a riser or drop to get the tow bar level. To check your setup, hook up your tow bar, measure, and see if it's within the safe zone. That means no more than 3" above level or 3" below. If it's outside that range, this adapter provides the rise or drop needed to bring it back in line. It's built for flat towing only, so don't use it to pull a trailer.

Well to start I haven't installed it yet I'm waiting on a another thing which is a basket kind of with a ramp for my mobility scooter and I needed something a little bit higher sticking out a little bit longer and this looks perfect my son will help me install it probably this weekend looks real good thank you

Received prompt delivery however the receiver was covered with rust on good portion of one side. It took some work removing but it is acceptable now. Would be helpful if products were inspected prior to delivery to avoid this situation.

Getting my Class C motor home lifted, so this 4" drop hitch should do the job. Tried sliding the 4" drop hitch into my Roadmaster spare tire receiver, and it was a little bit tight. Had to sand it down a few hairs. Now the fit is good and tight. So far so good! Thank you E-trailer as well.

Very heavy and sturdy. I can use it for a Truck bed step now, My brand new truck bumper sticks out so bad my old one did not clear the bumper. I ordered the 6 inch adapter and it clears the NEW truck bumper by 2 or 3 inches. I love it. It fits great !!!! Sorry My Photo will NOT upload for some reason to this review.
Hi Noah I have given the hitch 3 stars not because of quality. In fact the hitch is very well made. My issue is that when all put together with the towbar the pivot is a full 18 inches from the receiver on the coach. This seems a little excessive. So my question is can I drill a new hole 51/2 inches from the original hole and by doing so the stinger on the tow bar would extend beyond the edge of the receiver and the original hole would be visable. I hope I’ve explained this so you can understand it. Thank you

Thanks for explaining what you're seeing. I think I understand what you mean, you are saying there it's a longer than you needed. I wouldn't recommend drilling a new hitch pin hole in the tow bar shank. Doing that can weaken the shank and change the way the tow bar was engineered to handle the towing loads. It could also affect the warranty and the overall safety of the setup, so it's not something I'd feel comfortable recommending.
