Clearance Dimensions for Kuat NV 2.0 Base 2-Bike Platform Rack BA22B

Question:
Want to confirm if this Kuat NV 2.0 or NV Base 4 bike rack will have clearance between rack down, without bikes and tailgate, when tailgate on my 2010 Tacoma is open / down. Also, confirming clearance between glass on canopy and handlebar when my bike is mounted in position #1, i.e closest position to vehicle. Handlebar width 32 bars sit 16inch beyond wheel cradle, assuming bike is vertical on rack. Thanks

On the Kuat NV 2.0 Base 2-Bike Platform Rack # BA22B the horizontal distance from the hitch pin hole to the center of the nearest bike rail is approximately 14-3/8-inches. The height of the unloaded rack when folded down is 11-7/8-inches relative to the center of the hitch pin hole.
Please refer to the linked Kuat diagram which shows these dimensions.

Is the 11 7/8" to the top of accesories to the center of the pin hitch? I have a Ford Econoline van and need a 4 bike rack, the clearance I have between my two 30" swing out doors and the center pin hitch is just over 12". If swung down, would I get this clearance to open the doors?
