7-Way Kit Recommendation for 2021 Toyota Sienna for Use of Tekonsha RF Brake Controller

Question:

Hi - I will be picking up a 2021 Toyota Sienna Limited in a week. I would like to install a 7-way for my fiberglass camper trailer. I already have a Tekonsha Prodigy RF wireless bluetooth controller. And the 12v battery for the Sienna is in the rear of the vehicle. Whats the best plug and play as much as possible! collection of wiring kits would I need? Thanks! : Mike

Hey Michael, the 7-way kit that is going to make the most sense for your 2021 Toyota Sienna is going to be the # ETBC7 that comes with everything needed to convert a 4-way to a 7-way and wire up the needed circuit for your RF controller.

It sounds like the ETBC7L (wireless controller version) would work too, and perhaps be the better option, as the brake controller is wireless, so no need for the wired connection to the front of the vehicle.

@MichaelM Yes it would actually, we were told the ETBC7L was getting phased out though which is why I didn't mention it but if you can still order it then go for it.
