Availability of 7-Way Wiring for 2024 Kia Sorento EX With Factory Tow Package

Question:
Do you have a trailer harness to fit a 2024 Kia Sorento EX that is pre-wired for 7 pin harness? I cant find anything on your website that will work with a pre-wired Sorento EX. Is that something that will be available soon?

As far as I know the tow package on the 2024 Kia Sorento only has plugs for 4-way wiring, not 7-way. If yours has a 7-way factory port at the rear the only option would be to use an OEM harness from Kia.
The Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK24FR is the only aftermarket option for a 7-way. The T-One connector will plug into the two factory connectors for the 4-way functionality. The body harness with the 12V power and blue brake output wire run up to the cab/battery for the rest of the installation which can be seen in the video below.

Thanks for the reply. I’m not sure the TK24FR will work because the tail light connectors have a plastic key inside them so they won’t fit unless you break off the key. The EX is definitely prewired for 7 way but Kia doesn’t have a harness available yet. I can send you pictures if you don’t have access to a 2024 Sorento EX I have pictures I can show you if you’re interested.
