Question:
Hi, I want to install a ETBC7L and run a wireless brake controller. Howerever, if I change my mind down the road and want a wired controller, do I need to buy the ETBC7 kit or I just need to run the wires from the 7 pins plug? Regards, Antoine

Hey Antoine, so the two kits you mentioned are actually really similar and honestly I would go with the part # ETBC7 if I were you. The # ETBC7L is basically the same thing minus a couple wires and breakers so you may as well get the kit that has everything and then if you need the additional parts to install a wired controller you'd have them.

Can I use a etbc7 and still use the curt echo c51180. And just leave the Xtra wire upfront unhitched? Just in case down the road I want to go to a dash control the wires will be there. Thanks Herb
