Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2018 Ford Edge Titanium

Question:

I have the 2018 Ford Edge titanium. When I installed the draw tight hitch I noticed, passenger side, rear, a factory trailer Plug. The plug has all four trailer wires. I looked in the fuse box and the bow has a Good 40A fuse in trailer and towing. I could not pull a signal from the Factory trailer plug ground was good. Do you know it the vehicle has a relay I can check?

The only way you'd be able to utilize and factory trailer wiring on your 2018 Ford Edge would be to contact a Ford dealer as we do not have anything for that setup. We have trailer wiring that will fit and work well on your Titanium but it installs by plugging inline with the taillight connectors of the vehicle. For that you'd want the T-One part # 118677. The install is still pretty simple and this kit comes with our most reliable converter box so we recommend it highly. I attached an install video for this kit for you to check out as well.
