Will The TorkLift PowerArmor Solar Locking Battery Box Work With Group 8D Batteries?

I have a TT. If is a grand design 2800BH 2021. I purchased a 200AH LiFePO4 battery. It is a Group 8D battery and measures 21L x 10W x 10.25T Will this solar battery box accommodate this battery?

Hello Matt, we do have an option for you, but the TorkLift PowerArmor Solar Locking Battery Box # TLA7700LS will not work with your group D8 batteries. The battery box has internal dimensions of 31" long x 7-5/8" wide, so your battery will be much too wide.

Our best option for a group 8D battery is the Commercial Grade Battery Box for Group 8D Batteries # 329-HM484. This is a plastic battery box made specifically for 8D batteries. It has internal dimensions of 21" long x 11-13/16" wide x 10-5/16" tall so your battery will fit perfectly. There are no metal/solar options in this size though, so this will be our best option for you.
