Great product.
The box is a fine fit for my Litime 48 volt 100 amphour battery. Protected the battery throught the past winter with no problems.
Arrived on time, and in good shape. It's a box, a well made box, but just a box. The interior dimensions published by etrailer are spot on, and after I installed the busbars and a 300 AH lithium battery I had one eighth of an inch to spare, exactly as planned. Good numbers equal good results.
Used for a 400ah lithium, dimensions were correct!
We have used the HM484 battery box and one other NOCO model and they are the best battery boxes we have ever used. Both inside and outside, fixed and mobile they are the best and we will only used NOCO Battery boxes in the future. Heavy construction, well fitted top will cable access and four mounting feet make them a great value
It is not what I'd expect from a 150.00 battery box. I was expecting a sturdy strong box but this is not any better than a 30-40 dollar single battery box also the lid had holes that were not lined up with the nuts in the box. I had to correc this with a large drill bit. Just over all so so quality. But it will do the job, so I am using it.
WANRING!!! NOCO's own website is [currently] WRONG! These 8D boxes have two holes on the Top cover, plus two very elongated holes for where the screw-down knobs pass through the cover. All four of these holes allow WATER to infiltrate the battery box! Many Seller websites DO NOT show any such holes (as well NOCO's own website shows no such holes). Shame on NOCO!!! However etrailer.com is AWESOME as usual for the etrailer website shows pictures (and Video) of the ACTUAL product and therefore clearly showing both the Holes on the Top cover, and if you look closely, the elongated holes for where the screw-down knobs pass through the Top cover. Other then the extra HOLES, the product itself is top-notch high-quality sturdy and highly recommended..., but beware that Outdoor placement will allow water into this box (with a little bit of DIY the four holes can of course be closed up... for they are quite small). I hope this HELPS others like myself who did desire to have NO Holes as pictured out on the NOCO website :) Ps. Thank you very much George! (customer support person at etrailer.com)
This NOCO HM484 Single 8D Battery Box lid has deformed holes where the lid hold down fasteners pass through to the box bottom! the machine screw is about 3/16" and the rubber washer to seal the top is 9/16". The off shape oblong hole that the screw fastener should tighten is 1 1/8"X9/16". This is way too big and will not work to fasten the lid and in addition would allow water in.

The lid holes are not centered on the sides. So, unfortunately, it requires a significant amount force to align the holes while also screwing in the knob. Disappointed considering how much I paid for this plastic box.
I've used these for a couple of customers with Lithium batteries. Well made.
It’s big enough for the upsized lithium battery that I bought and that’s what I needed.
Box is perfect size for my new Lithium battery. Unfortunately I will need to return or exchange because the manufacturer, NOCO drilled the handscrew holes off location and do not line up with the lid holes...not even close! Etrailer shipped it out quickly and I received it in only a few days.
This has been an excellent addition to our trailer and holds our 300ah Lithium battery great. It is a very sturdy box and can take the weight of a 300ah battery with no issues. You will need to install some extra supports over your standard trailer battery mounts because this is a very large battery box. It just fit on our 2025 Cougar 22MLS.
