Which Post Goes The The Battery On The Circuit Breaker # PK54250PL?

The posts are different colors. Does the battery have to go to a particular side and if so, to the silver or copper post?

The copper post on the Circuit Breaker # PK54250PL is supposed to connect to the battery while the silver side goes to the accessory. You can see a small stamp on the black base marked BAT for battery and AUX for auxiliary.
