Trailer Hitch Receiver and Wiring Harness For a 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz

Question:

I just bought a 2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz and I need a hitch and the wiring harness but not sure if it is equipped with factory tow package. It did not come with hitch from factory can you suggest which hitch and wiring harness I need Thanks

So first of you are going to need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C23WR which I see you already found. And I do understand your confusion with wiring since you would think since it did not come with the receiver you would not have the factory tow package. Both the Tekonsha 7-Way # TK44ZR(without tow package) and Curt 7-Way # C68JR(with tow package) are going to have the exact same connector that connects them to the vehicle. So that leads me to believe the only real difference for the 7-way is going to be the additional wiring needed for a brake controller. So if you only need a 4-way you will want to go with the Curt # CU94FR otherwise if you are going to need a 7-way you would want to select the Tekonsha # TK44ZR so it has all the wiring needed for a Brake Controller # 90195.
