Parts and labor through Hyundai dealership was over $[XX]! This install also only took 45 minutes. Dealership was going to charge 3 1/2 hours labor at $[XX] an hour. I am very pleased with my purchase.
The hitch works. I gave it a three star because it came with the box damage and the hitch bent. I inquire to etrailer about it, and was told that I should be able to straighten it. I did but, I am not able to secure one bolt. As it does not align properly.

I am using the hitch but because the The hitch came bent, I was not able to straiten it to its original form so, I could not install one bult. So, I use it with limited weight less then 1000 lbs.
Packaging of hitch is minimal and even the second shipment experienced some holes in the box. Customer service was outstanding, fast and helpful. Both the hitch and the harness fitted well. I would recommend viewing the instillation on Youtube. I installed the hitch by myself using the muffler to hold one end up while threading the bolts on the opposite side. Then removed two of the three exhaust hanging grommets on the exhaust to then thread & tighten the three bolts on the passenger/exhaust side. I did not disconnect the battery when installing the harness and experienced no issues. Thanks to Etrailer.
Recently i got my self a 2024 santa cruz and it came with no Trailor hitch and of course the dealer wonted over a thousand dollars to in stall one, others a little less like u hall. so i went on the enter net and checked out etrailer as well as others and decided to buy there product with free shipping. fast shipping and thats important, and it arrived in three days. box took a little beating but the hitch was fine and i recommend padding the hitch ends as shippers as you know put all packages to the test. the hitch is very well made with strong iron and power coated nicely. i'm a eighty one year old man so it took me by my self about two and a half hours to complete the job enclouding the wiring harness. i'm pleased that i only see the hitch receiver and not all the hitch as that makes a good looking bumper as you see it from the rear. because i had no help to install the hitch i did employ a bottle jack to assist me during the installation and it all worked out quite well. pleased with the product but the photo helpers need to be cleared up for better visual . I did a great job with a good product to work with. If you need a hitch, give these people a try i think you will like what you get.
The hitch arrived in a cardboard box and looked great. When I tried to install the hitch, I found that the mounting plate on the driver's side of the hitch was bent , likely from having been dropped on that end of the box. When the hitch was mounted to the passenger side of the vehicle the mounting plate on the driver side was about 1 1/2 inches from the mounting holes in the chassis. I used a chain fall and a couple of trees to pull the driver side plate back into position so that I could then mount the hitch to the vehicle. Had it not been for the need to straighten the mounting plate, the installation would have taken about an hour. I also should mention that I am 70+ years old and I managed the installation alone so it was not a difficult task. I gave it 4 stars because of the bent mount, otherwise it was a 5 star.

This hitch is made of mild steel which causes it to flex over pot holes and rough terrain, but also can happen during shipping which causes it to bend. Here are tips to fix the issue in this help article:

Part came well packaged. Instructions had pictures. There was a linc to a YouTube video. I've already made another purchase with Etraler.
Nice design, well constructed,great fit, good instructions, easy install.
Backed the Santa Cruz Night Edition onto a couple of 2"x6" planks to get some extra space for workout underneath, worked well.
The trailer hitch seems to be ok, but the packaging was horrible. Multiple holes and tears in the box and no thought given to protecting the hitch...no padding or cushioning. Just thrown into the box and obviously bounced around inside during shipment. Hopefully no damage done to the hitch but I will know more when it is installed next Monday the 28th
The hitch receiver fit great. I did the installation on the ground by myself. Things were a little tight but with your excellent videos I was prepared for what needed to be done.
Like all Kurt products it installed with excellent instructions and a minimum amount of hassle. It took some physical effort but there were no surprises. I just actually used it for the first time this last week. Trailered a 900 lb. motorcycle 400 miles and back with no issues. Great values for the money.
The hitch could use to be about 1/2" wider. There was quite a gap between the plates that bolt to the frame.

From the installations that we have done I would say that it should not have that much of a gap. I think it could be that the side brackets needed to be manually spread out a little. What can happen is that the side brackets can be knocked out of alignment when they are shipped to us. Sometimes it is not noticeable until the hitch is installed. We have a FAQ that can help with spreading the brackets a part.

The trailer hitch and wiring harness is doing great. I was 66 when I installed them and it couldn't have been easier. I have a recall on my factory trailer wiring but the wiring harness I got from etrailer has no problems. Highly recommend it.
Quality of product appears excellent. Install was fairly straightforward. Recommend initially using exhaust to rest passenger side of receiver for fastener starting, before lowing exhaust to make room for torquing. Recommend a hitch riser to increase resultant height of tow ball.

One downside is the POOR packaging of the hitch. I know it's ONLY a trailer hitch, but I'm installing it on my BRAND NEW '23 truck. It wouldn't take much to wrap with cardboard (inside the package) the mounting points which were ALL "poking" though the box!! Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to powder coat the hitch, then clip it off before it can be installed. I guess a little black Rustoleum will do the trick.

Hitch works great. Wife uses her truck to pull a 6x10 enclosed trailer for her crafting business.
Was grateful they could ship the hitch separately from the wiring harness, which was back ordered.
The package was damaged on delivery and it was a small chip on the end of the trailer hitch that knocked powder coat off. But besides that everything else was great.
Great price and install easy Im very satisfied with my purchase.
Run away from this company or don’t listen and roll the dice. If I wrote a review on my experience with this company it would take too long to read it and you probably wouldn’t believe it. Go elsewhere!
