Question:
What is the difference between the Draw-Tite and Curt Hitches for a 2023 Santa Cruz? Which one do you recommend for my truck or is there a better option?

The Curt Trailer Hitch item # C23WR and the Draw-Tite Hitch item # DT48GR are almost identical and are both confirmed to fit the 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz.
The main differences between the two hitches are that the Curt is made in the USA and the Draw-Tite has a built in tab to mount a 4-way or 7-way wiring bracket.
Both hitches are a class III, with a 2" receiver, that weigh right at 40 lbs. They have a 5,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 750 lbs maximum tongue weight. Neither one of them can be used with a weight distribution system. They have a similar glossy powder coated finish that offers protection from rust and debris.
Out of the two, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C23WR because it is made in the USA. I really like this hitch because it mounts behind your rear bumper and the only portion visible is the 2" x 2" receiver. This not only looks better but it also doesn't lower your ground clearance.
I have linked a couple of pictures below of both hitches along with installation videos so you can see what these hitches look like when installed.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # CU94FR and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
To attach a 4-way wiring harness to the Draw-Tite Hitch item # DT48GR you will want to use the Mounting Bracket for 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # BK4F. This bracket will attach to the pre drilled tab. None of the 4-way wiring harnesses for any vehicle include this bracket.
