I have a 2022 KIA Carnival with factory installed hitch and 4-pin connector. I need to upgrade to a 7–pin connector for a pop-up camper. Is part TK44ZR the right one for that. I’d prefer a full wiring harness upgrade and not a splice upgrade There are no OEM 7-pin harness for the 2022 Karnival, only the 2024-2025 model years.

It will plug into the existing wiring on your vehicle with no splicing. Do you have a brake controller? I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR. Its proportional braking applies your trailer's brakes to match the intensity of your vehicle's braking. Also, the dash-mounted knob makes it easy to control.
