Will The Curt Dinghy Tow Harness 58963 Also Allow for Connecting To a Boat Trailer?

Question:
I know curt #58963 is for dingy towing. I want to know if it will also allow me to pull my boat trailer? Connecting from my tail lights to the boat trailer. My vehicle is a 2021 Jeep Cherokee limited 6 cylinder 4 wheel drive. Thanks John

Sorry John, the Curt dinghy tow harness 58963 can only be used for dinghy towing and will not work for connecting to a trailer. Instead you will need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56406 for your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This harness is specifically designed for trailer use as it has a powered converter which will send power to the trailer lights from your battery rather than putting strain on your factory wiring.
