Recommended Front-Mounted Trailer Hitch For A 2023 Ford F-550

I am Looking at part # 306-X7904. The front hitch for the 2023 F350. I purchased this for my 2023 F350 Lariat. Went in easy and has a great fit. I am now going to buy an F550 Super Duty. My local shop said all the brackets, parts, and mounts for everything should be the same- except the mounting for the heavy duty axles. So my question is, has this been tried on an F550, and won’t work? Or, has no one tried to add this, So it is just listed as wont work. With the size of modern luxury truck campers, a truck with 14k GVWR just dont cut it anymore.

Hi Kris,
TorkLift lists part number # EH54QR as a fit for a 2023 Ford F-550. The # 306-X7904 is not listed as a fit for an F-550 at all but we've confirmed it on our site because F-350 owners were trying it and it fit. Most likely it could fit but no one has attempted it yet. The mounting is a bit different between the two so I'd personally avoid the risk of it not working and go with the # EH54QR.
