Works great. Only con is its expensive but I really have not seen anything else like it. Like anything else it's not impenetrable but you just need to have something Better that other guy!
Well built, solid and my two Honda EU 2000s fit perfectly.
Solid construction but: Disappointed with the placement limitations of the verticals security bars. I could not get them as close to the generator as needed to secure it tightly. The “grooves” that the vertical bars slide in limit how close I could get them to the generator leaving rather large gaps. This allows the vertical bars to vibrate significantly while underway. I used foam pieces to protect the generator but it looks like a jury rigged job. Factory installed rubberized backing on the vertical and horizontal security bars would be an excellent improvement for the next generation. Minor issue: it arrived with several scratches down to the bare metal suggesting it had not been protected very well between manufacture and shipping. There were no major dents. It was packaged and shipped very well so I believe the damage occurred before it was shipped. In short, I appreciate the effort and build quality but the short comings make it a lot of money for a product that could still use improvements.
I have had the cargo tray mounted to my travel trailer with a generator on it for 14,000 miles and have had no issues.
etrailer never disappoints. Shipping was fast and TorkLift is just as I expected. It went together very easily and feels sturdy and safe to care my generator on while traveling about the country.
I give it four stars for its usefulness and durability, but I think the locking bar system needs to be redesigned. I could pull my generator out from under it. Had to add a second lock to feel it was safe from theft.
Bought to hold two Honda EU2200i generators on front bumper. You will need to buy another locking mechanism from torklift directly, about $230.00 out the door and shipped to lock both of them. Works great. eTrailer and Torklift gets it done.
Good quality, had a a small warranty issue handled nicely through etrailer via torklift. As a previous review stated it would be nice if they had a keyed alike lock and hitch pin especially for the money charged. I bought two keyed alike ones on amazon as my tray is mounted on the front and have one for the back. Another suggestion if you have the WESTINGHOUSE 5000 as I do, remove the telescoping handle for a better fit. The weak spot for theft other than the hitch pin is the top strap just behind lock, can be had with a reciprocating saw easily. But that my give ya enough time or them to make enough noise to be a deterrent. Overall, a satisfying purchase.
The wing nut broke before I could even tighten the vertical bracket. Once assembled it is full of rattles and the finish quality is poor. Multiple metal burrs

Needed a secure means to haul our dual fuel generator for the camper without taking up space in the bed of the truck. This cargo tray is awesome. Easy to install, secured to the back bumper of the trailer with a locking pin and the built in security cage is great. I'd recommend this cargo tray to anyone. We unboxed the product, it's well built,this product is solid, The only issue I found it had a dent on the upper corner of the tray I was a little disappointed but overall it seems great , would I buy from e trailer again yes ,also the tracking was awesome (cosmetic damage that's all it was)
This product is well built. Locks my generator in place without movement. I haven't had a chance to travel with it yet but I'm sure it will meet all my expectations. Little pricey but remember you get what you pay for.no regrets.

Ive been using the Tork Lift cargo carrier for a year now. It is mounted on the back of my Rockwood travel trailer. We have used it to carry our 5500 watt Champion generator for several thousand miles, with no issues at all. Before I bought the carrier, I was hesitant, mainly because of the price. However, this product is very well made, and for the money, it is well worth it. I love the fact that I can lock my generator on the cargo carrier with its locking system. I have no regrets, and if I needed another cargo carrier, I would buy this one again.
The service at trailer is far and above anyone else in this industry. They are consistently helpful when making or researching an item. Prices are mostly comparable to the competition but the reason I buy from them is the service both pre and post sale.

Awesome! Still very happy with it. When we don’t have the generator with us we use it to carry our dog fencing. It is very well built and will stand the test of time.
Would be 5 star if the lock did not have so much slop when secured versus the oversized slotted hole
Purchased this for our generator to be secured during our 4k mile trip. This is a great secure option. The only drawback is the movement side to side. Purchased an anti-rattle hitch tighter. That worked very well, still tight after the entire trip.
The Carrier is perfect, we had one previously. It perfectly fits and clears our spare tire. The Firman 4000/3200 Generator fits perfectly. We did add some damping pads under the wheels and the feet of the Generator to prevent vibration. Great security mechanism. Highly recommend this tray and other Torklift Products. Note: we rarely use the gas furnace, the exhaust is right there, heat shield blank to deflect heat if needed.
I use it for a predator 3500 inverter/generator on the rear of my fifth wheel trailer. Very secure and stable. I made a roof for it and was able to find a canvass cover that is just a little larger than the carrier. I use the generator while it is secured in the carrier.
Well built , some small issues with the bolt hole on the moveable vertical arm . Weld splatter was in the hole and the bolt tried to strip when installing. I ran a tap through the hole and replaced the bolt. I am glad I bought this carrier rather than trying to make a cheap one “work” . etrailer.com is a first class company to work with ! Thanks guys !
Locking mechanism kind of weak and sloppy. Kind of expected for $500 better engineering.
The construction of the cargo tray is top notch. It seems pricey but you get what you pay for. I have a Honda eu3000i that will fit nicely inside the tray. I haven't used it yet but I am sure it will work fine.
Very pleased with this product. I am using it for a 8200watt Westinghouse inverter generator and it fits like a glove. Very sturdy and is built well for rv use.
Excellent product! Should include a lockable pin for the receiver instead of just the pin. Someone could just take the whole thing . lol

Its been a year with this behind our 5er and it has been a solid product. We boondock a lot. Our genny is 96 lbs and doesnt move at all! Very happy. ??
TorkLift Lock and Load for Predator 5000W Generator
My TorkLift Lock and Load arrived today exactly as tracking indicated. It was impressively packaged—every component was well-protected, with parts individually wrapped, bagged, or boxed. The finish on the unit is exceptional, and the overall build quality is clearly top-tier.
The instructions were well-printed, thoughtfully worded, and extremely easy to follow. I considered some less expensive hitch-mounted options, but I’m confident I made the right choice.
I installed this on the rear bumper of my 2023 38’ fifth wheel. This RV has the newer, reinforced bumper rated for up to 300 lbs—not the typical sewer hose-style bumper. I specifically purchased the Lock and Load to carry and secure my Predator 5000W inverter generator.
One feature I really appreciate is the integrated locking mechanism. I also use a locking hitch pin keyed to my truck’s ignition—no need to carry extra keys, which is a huge bonus.
We travel over 2,400 miles one way to Las Vegas each winter and return to Michigan in the spring. Now, I’ll have peace of mind knowing my generator is securely locked down for the journey. And the ability air conditioning and making coffee while boondocking! Total game-changer.

After a year and 5,390+ miles. This carrier was well worth the price. Do not think about a less expensive carrier, this is very well made. 5 stars. I almost went with a lower quality carrier, I’m glad I purchased this one. The generator stays very well secured.
