Availability of Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2022 Ford Escape PHEV

Question:

I have a 2022 Ford Escape PHEV. Do you all sell a trailer hitch that is compatible with my vehicle? Thanks.

Technically none of the hitches made for the 2022 Ford Escape are designed to fit the PHEV model. However, we do have a review from a customer who successfully installed the etrailer # e89YR on their 2022 PHEV. They did take this to a local installer and said it was a bit more complicated, so it is unknown if any modifications were made. It took about an hour to install the hitch so it doesn't sound like it took any extensive work to make it fit.

I have attached an installation video below along with the written instructions so you can see what the process is like on a standard Escape. If you plan on installing the hitch yourself I would compare this to your PHEV model to see if any modifications would be required.
