Question:
Looking for recommendation for bike rack I have a Prius 2017 and an Acura 2014. Usually on roadtrips we take the Prius since its more fuel efficient. But Im guessing to carry 4 bikes, it would make more sense to use the Acura. From the website, it looks like both Code: C13130 and Code: e24AR would fit well with the vehicle. From the owners manual, it has a max 1500lb trailer weight, so 10 is 150lb tongue weight. Say with 4 bikes at around 25lb, that leaves about 50lb for the rack weight. Do you have any recommendations for bike racks around that weight range? And does my math look right?

Yes, both the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e24AR and Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13130 would be a fit for your 2014 Acura RDX. Since you're limited on capacity the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 4 Bikes # HR4000 would be a great option to haul 4 bikes. This hitch mounted bike rack weighs approximately 47lbs and can handle up to 35lbs per bike. It has straps at each wheel cradle and padded clamps on towers in the middle of the rack to clamp on to the frame of the bikes to keep them secure. This will also come with a threaded anti-rattle hitch pin and lock to prevent the rack from wobbling in the hitch or any would-be criminals from stealing your rack.
I've attached a short video below of this rack on an MDX so that you can get a better idea of how it will work with your RDX.
