Question:
Hi, I have 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier Part Number: e98874. Questions for you: 1. I am getting some reflective tape from you for general when headlights hit it theyll see the carrier. However, are their low power LEDs kind of like how your brake lights are on super low when driving that are always on, but dont get bright when you break. Theyre just always a low glow to let people see it? 2. What are ways people had success getting things tied down safely?

Hey Garret, we actually have an LED light kit for the etrailer cargo carrier part # e98874 with the part # e67RV which puts a couple smaller light bars at the rear of the carrier like you can see in the attached picture. These will have the running light circuit as well as a brighter illumination for the stop/turn circuit. This would connect to your tow vehicle with a 4-way trailer wiring harness.
The Benton cargo net part # B32FR is a great way to secure items to the carrier as well.

I bought the light kit and brackets for the hitch cargo carrier and they work just like your regular brake lights do. Dimmer light with the lights on and brighter with the brakes on. As far as securing cargo, I have wrapped golf clubs and luggage in a tarp and secured them with bungee cords without any issues, even in the pouring rain. Hope that helps.

Depending on how much you need to tie down, I found that a container of various sized elastic bungee cords works great. I just keep them in the back of the car and use however many I need depending on what I'm hauling. I would also recommend keeping a tarp back there as well, as you might want to keep things like luggage or furniture dry during bad weather. I've had mine for a little less than a year but it has performed great, and I've not had anything fall off yet! Enjoy!
