Were looking for something we can slide out for groceries which this is perfect. Question is if we do not slide it out How much weight can I hold in the bed?

The overall weight capacity of the Truck Trolley Truck Bed Slide Out Tray # TR87VR is 300 lbs. This is the same as the capacity when it is in the truck bed. When you slide it out and it overhangs the tailgate the capacity is 100 lbs.
