Will Modifying Active Air Shutters for Roadmaster Base Plate Kit on 2022 Ford Maverick Void Warranty

Looking at the installation video for the Roadmaster base plate on a 22 Ford Maverick, it appears that you have to remove the automated louvers for the radiator. Wouldnt that void the Ford warranty for those critical hybrid components? Is there an alternative base plate installation that does NOT force you to modify the cooling system?

Yes, I have attached an install video on a 2022 For Maverick for the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM97RR.

Unfortunately, setting up a vehicle for flat-towing is going to void warranties pretty much no matter which parts you choose. That said, the manufacturer can't void a warranty for an unrelated modification. For example, if there's an issue with the starter, they can't refuse to fix it because you spliced into the tail lights for flat-tow wiring. If you're really concerned with warranties, I suggest a much older vehicle for flat-towing.
