I drive a 2018 jeep grand Cherokee. I’m looking to tow a trailer.. Recently Added a tow hitch. The seller was informing me about control brakes looking for customer support.

There are a couple things you'll need in order to add a trailer brake controller to your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'm going to assume you do not have the wiring, so you'll need to add a 7-way to your Jeep to control the trailer brakes. For that you'll need the following:

- T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way and 4-Pole Flat Connectors # C55774

Please note you may need to see a local Jeep dealer to activate the tow package wiring circuit if the seller had not done so. Then you can add a brake controller and plug-in wiring adapter.
