Will the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs Raise the Rear End of a 2019 Ram 1500?

Question:

Hello, I bought a 2019 Ram 1500. The previous owner installed a lift on the front and now the back has a squat of about 1.5”. I would like to get rid of the squat and level it or even put a little rake back in. the front kit he installed appears expensive to remove so I thought adding a Firestone Coil Rite kit or something similar that would raise the back up. To be clear, the squat is not when towing, it’s all the time. You all have always been great, any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

You've got what's called a Carolina lift and there's nothing I can do for you that'll fix it. The Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F4130 or any other suspension enhancement won't raise your stock ride height which is what you need. They're all designed to keep the suspension from sagging when under pressure from a heavy load in the bed or the tongue weight of a trailer pushing it down.

I recommend checking out Rough Country and see if they have some lifting blocks you can put in your rear end. This would be an inexpensive way to level out the back of your truck and they wouldn't affect the comfort of your suspension.
