How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna check out the Master Lock Padlock. This guy's gonna be one of the smaller ones. It is 1 3/16 inch, but it works for a lot of different uses. A couple of things that are cool with it, it's gonna come with two keys that are color lock to match if you have multiple padlocks. The shank itself is hardened steel, so that's gonna make it a lot more difficult for someone to cut through it, and we'll just go ahead and show you how this guy goes. Now we all know how to use padlocks, but this is gonna work for backpacks, firearm locks, you can use this guy right here for a wheel chock right here, just about anywhere.
The material that they use for the steel is corrosion resistant, so it's gonna hold up as well against all the elements of being outdoors. As far as the diameter of our shank itself, it's 3/16, so that's gonna give you a pretty good thing for little smaller diameters. Your overall height is 5/8 and then you're 9/16 wide, so this is gonna get work for those things within that capacity. You know it's steel so it's not gonna stretch, just keep in mind before you order it, and you can get a lot of use outta these little locks like I don't believe this one's TSA approved, but it'll work for any small, light-security situation. one broke after one day and the other a few days later...not good at all and to have one working after a year I would have needed to by 400 of them!
