Features to know about

Stay Level When the Bed Gets Heavy: Progressive Load Support

Installed spring when it is not compressed Installed spring when it is compressed

When you load up gear for a trip or haul tools for the job, the rear end can start to squat and throw off your handling. These springs compress as weight comes on, adding up to 2,800 lbs of support at 50% compression so your truck stays more level and controlled.

Take the Edge Off Rough Roads: Micro-Cellular Cushioning

Rough trails and uneven pavement can make the back end feel harsh and bouncy. The closed-cell polyurethane design acts like a cushion, soaking up bumps and softening rebounds so the ride feels more settled instead of choppy.

Cut Down on Sway in Corners and Crosswinds: Progressive Resistance

You know that uneasy feeling when the rear starts to lean in a turn or shift in the wind. These springs firm up as they compress, helping reduce sway and body roll so the truck feels more planted when things get unpredictable.

Forget Constant Adjustments: Maintenance-Free Design

Air systems can be a hassle with lines, leaks, and pressure checks. This setup is a one-piece solution with no maintenance needed. Once it is in, you can just drive and not think about it again.

Simple Upgrade from Factory Stops: One-Piece Replacement

Instead of stacking add-ons, this replaces your factory bump stops directly. It is a clean, straightforward upgrade that works quietly in the background without changing how you use your truck day to day.

Smooth Out Loaded and Unloaded Driving: Consistent Rear Support

Some setups only help when fully loaded, but these stay engaged lightly even when you are not hauling. That means less rear-end bounce on daily drives and more control whether the bed is empty or packed.

Video Transcript for Review of SuperSprings Intl Vehicle Suspension - Towing/Load Leveling - ss67uj

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Super Springs Solo Custom Helper Springs for the rear suspension. Now folks, these are a simple upgrade designed to improve load support, stability, and overall ride quality. And unlike traditional airbag systems, these are completely maintenance free. There's no airlines, no compressors, and nothing to adjust.

You just simply install 'em once and they're always working for you. Now, these are made of a microcellular urethane material, which gives you a progressive spring rate of 2,800 pounds at 50% compression. What's that mean Well, they're gonna stay soft when they're unloaded for comfort, but firm up as the weight increases to provide extra support you need during those times that you're using those heavier loads. That also is gonna mean less rear swag in the rear end, reduce sway, better wall control, especially when you're hauling gear, towing or carrying uneven load. So maybe you have a camper shell in the back of the vehicle or something like that.

This could be a great option for those kind of things as well. And these basically are an upgrade to your factory bump stops. They engage when needed. Again, that's gonna work. That's when they're gonna work, and they're gonna smooth out those harsh impacts.

Installation's pretty straightforward, excuse me. Once they're in place, they work automatically. There's no tuning, no monitor. And these basically replace your factory bounce stop. You get to include a hardware here with some thread lock, thread lock it looks like there in the blue.

And again, folks, these are a nice option for you. The Sumo Springs Solo Custom Helper Springs for the rear axle. I'm Steve with etrailer. Thanks for watching and as always, stay safe while you're towing.

  • What Is The Difference Between The Yellow And Black SumoSprings?
Hey Joseph, thanks for reaching out. The difference between the yellow and black SumoSprings is the weight capacity or stiffness of the spring. For the 2018 Ram ProMaster 1500, the black ones part # SSR-307-47 are 1,500 lb capacity. Those are good for simple camper conversions or if you are hauling a lighter trailer. They will reduce sagging and increase stability without making the ride too rough. The Yellows part # SS67UJ are 2,800 lb capacity so those would be better for larger trailers...
