Question:

Hi All, Im interested in a hitch for my 2013 Nissan Leaf. I watched a video on your website that says the hitch with P/N 306-X7184 will fit my Leaf and no drilling is required to install. When I got to the product page for 306-X7184 it says it is not confirmed to fit my Leaf. Will it or will it not fit my Leaf with no drilling? Thanks.

You need the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7221 for your 2013 Nissan Leaf. The Receiver # 306-X7184 you found fit the 2011-2012 model years while the receivers appear very similar you can see the mounting bracket which bolts to the passenger side frame rail was changed for the 2013 through current 2024 model year.

I recommend installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56227 when you install the receiver. This will give you a 4-way flat connector which is the most common connector found on small trailers you might tow. It will also allow you to use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 should your hitch mounted accessory impair the view of your tail lights.
