Question:
Can I convert an AL-KO 8700 brake hub 10inch x 1-/3/4 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern to a 10inch x 2-1/4 brakes? My shoes are worn at a little over 50 and I cannot source any new shoes so just looking towards the future.

An AL KO 8700 hub is a 3,500 lb axle hub which we have replacements for that use the current 10 inch by 2-1/4 inch size. For that you'd need the hub part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K and then for brake assemblies part number # AKEBRK-35-SA and you'd be set.
