Will this work with a 2018 BMW X5? The ball mount that came with my stealth hitch sits too low for my trailer.

No, the Ball Mount for Stealth Hitches Hidden Receiver Hitch # 391BMU7S is not going to fit your 2018 BMW X5. The only ball mount that fits your Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # SH52VR would be the one included in the Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring for Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH98VR.
Realistically, the only thing you can do is swap your hitch out with a regular hitch like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13077 and use a ball mount with more rise.
I know that's probably not the best thing to hear, but honestly it's your only choice if this one sits too low for your trailer.
