I can certainly point you in the right direction. Unfortunately I am not able to recommend bearings based on just a year, make and model of trailer. If only it were so easy right? We would need to have you measure and verify some info. Specifically we would need to know bearing numbers/sizes. If you can remove and unpack a hub we should be able to identify the sizes. Especially since the trailer is almost 40 years old, as they did not use the same standard bearing sizing back then as they do now.
A lot of smaller trailers today will use bearings like the # L44649 (1.063" inner diameter) or a # L44643 (1" inner diameter. Since your trailer is only 1,000 lbs I am assuming that it has a light duty axle that would use one of these smaller bearing sizes or something similar. Only one way to know for sure and that is to unpack a hub and see for yourself.
I have included a picture that shows the measurements needed for a spindle, bearings, seals, faces, and hubs.
