I need to put a third brake light on my truck cap. 2021 silverado which shares the brake and turn signal no separate bulbs. Can i use a convertor to pick up the brake signal. Is there a plug and play version?

The easiest way to get the signal for a third brake light on your truck cap is going to be by tapping into the 7-way.Using a 3rd Brake Light Logic Module # PP20-702 you'll tap into the left and right turn signals of the 7-way with the yellow wires and use the green wire to power the third brake light. The logic module will keep the third brake light from flashing when you apply your turn signals just like a converter.
You'll need some extra wire # 12-1-1 and heat shrink butt connectors # DW05745-5 as well to complete your connections.
