Will the Curt True Course Advanced Bluetooth Trailer Sway Control Correct Minor Sway Events

Question:

The Curt marketing materials for the True Course shows a picture of the True Course only activating with extreme sway that is outside the capabilities of a friction-based anti sway hitch see attached. Is this true, or does the True Course also actively correct minor sway events as well?

The Curt True Course Advanced Bluetooth Trailer Sway Control # C94VV works better with a weight distribution system. The True Course is more for emergency maneuvers, high winds, semi trucks passing and so on. It is not necessarily designed for minor sway situations that are typically handled by a weight distribution system. The True Course has a built-in motion sensor, so it does not activate until the sensor is moved enough to do so.

You can use the Curt True Course Advanced Bluetooth Trailer Sway Control # C94VV without a weight distribution system, but you will get the best results by using them both together.
