Recommended Suspension Enhancement for 2017 Toyota Tundra Platinum Towing Lance TT

Question:
Hello - I have a 2017 Toyota Tundra Platinum 4x4, totally stock. Im towing a 24 Lance Travel Trailer w/ a total weight of approx. 7,000lbs and tongue weight of aprpox. 1,000lbs with minimal extras. Have the Andersen hitch and have had good results but experiencing a little squat. Id like to allow for some additional weight for generator and addl cargo and achieve a level ride height. Seems like Sumo Springs SSR-610-47 would be best choice but would like to get your advice/recommendation. Thanks, Tom

Hey Tom! The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-610-47 are a great option for eliminating that rear squat. These will give you 1,500 lbs of load support and won't ruin your unloaded ride quality like some other solutions.
Keep in mind, these do not increase the tongue weight capacity of your truck. Make sure you aren't over capacity if you're adding a generator along with other cargo, it adds up fast.

They definitely help with the squat. It will still go down when loaded but not as much and the ride is great. I tow a two horse trailer and small dump trailer about the same weight as your doing.
