Hey Cecil. The Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit item # K71-653-00 includes a set of shackle straps that measure 2-1/4" on center. They're going to be 3/8" shorter than what you currently have on your trailer, which is not going to be an issue. This may slightly raise your suspension by around 3/16" if your current equalizer is the same height as the Dexter.

What equalizer is currently on your trailer?

I installed this on a 2021 Grand Design Imagine XLS 22RBE. The install was done in about 3 hours. I no longer have this RV but I would recommend this EZ Flex from Dexter.

Really made a difference over stock shackles for my 7,000 car trailer. Handles & takes bumps better. You will not be disappointed. Recommend.

To answer your question about shackle length, I bought these because they matched my existing exactly. I replaced the 'dry' equalizers on my Alliance Delta and the shackles were identical... I will say, taking the old ones off was a CHORE. The entire job was around 10 hours for me, 6 hours the first day and 4 the next..but I didn't have any help. But, when they're on, it's a world of difference! Good luck!

I upgraded my suspension with this product on a 30 foot grand design imagine trailer. Total game changer. Eliminated purposing, greatly reduced to sway, and radically reduce the amount of stuff that fell off of counters and shelves. The only downside I see is that you need to commit to keeping those wet bolts greased. I try to get it done every thousand miles. I would 100% upgrade my trailer with this product again.

@Barry You're 100% correct Barry. If you keep those wet bolts greased them and the brass bushings will outlast the leaf springs. Thank you so much for taking time to share your experiences!
