Question:
I am looking to add a hitch with a 2" receiver to my 2023 Kia Sportage. Which is the best one? I see a couple of different options.

The best hitch with a 2" receiver for your 2023 Kia Sportage is going to be the etrailer Hitch item # e38KR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your Kia with included hardware. This is a class III hitch, with a 2" receiver, that weighs 27 lbs. It has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity, and a 525 lbs maximum tongue weight. This hitch can not be used with weight distribution systems.
The reason this is the best hitch is that the crossbar mounts behind your bumper cover which leaves only the 2" x 2" receiver visible. This not only helps the look of your Kia but it also improves ground clearance.
if you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C99DR and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
I also recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
